2026 CORT Farmworker and Immigrant Worker Law Training

Description

This three-day substantive, in-person training will be held in Kalamazoo, Michigan. It is targeted at participants from any interested migrant program, as well as those who work with these issues. The following topics will be covered at the training: Overview of Farmworker and Immigrant Worker Clients and Laws, Trauma Informed Advocacy, Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act, Immigration Basics and Remedies for Victims of Crimes, H-2A Program, and Farmworker Wages.
