This training will explore the application of the Model Rules of Professional Conduct to a lawyer’s representation of a client who has diminished capacity. The training will identify steps for maintaining appropriate client involvement, considerations to support informed decision making for clients with diminished capacity, and how to evaluate whether protective action is warranted.
