Description

Please join the First Friday webinar on November 3rd at 9:30 to hear about one successful legal services program’s promising progress in fighting financial exploitation. Jill Randall from Legal Services for the Elderly in Maine will discuss raising public awareness of this largely under-reported problem, as well as available civil remedies and challenges and pitfalls in working with clients who have been exploited. She will also describe how her legal services program has developed helpful interdisciplinary collaborations and excellent referral sources.

Jill has been involved with multiple elder abuse task forces around the state, including assisting with newly forming groups. She is also co-chair of the Education and Awareness Committee of the Maine Council for Elder Abuse Prevention.
